Homewood Suites by Hilton Belmont

Rooms were spacious, and I enjoyed the kitchen sections with hob, fridge, and freezer. The beds were comfortable, and the pillows were a little soft for my preference. There are towels and toiletries available for use in the rooms. Iron and board, with an in room safe. As I was travelling for work, I appreciated the small desks in the room, which allowed me to work. Tidy throughout the hotel, small gym area available. Small swimming pool, hot tub. I used the pool once it wasn't chlorinated and didn't seem that clean, but this could be a local choice due to the chemicals. The hot tub was also full of dirty foam. As a hot tub owner, I know this is not how it should look, and I didn't use it. The breakfast was buffet style with a rotation of meats for the breakfast tacos each day, the food and beverages where fresh and good tasting each day. If you're there for more than a few days, it does get a bit samey. There is no bar, and no restaurant on site but there is a small shop near reception where you can purchase items for your room. Although I'd recommend going to a convenience store beforehand to stock up for more competitive prices. The ice machines didn't work throughout my stay, which was a bit disappointing. The patio area is very spacious and lovely, with bbqs available for use. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, staff friendly, and competitive priced hotel. Parking available on site. Public transport is about a 20-minute walk away, all pathed and easily found via Google maps. As a single female, I walked around late at night and felt perfectly safe.

The crews in this hotel provided an excellent service to me from my too-early arrival to late night departure, not only to me but also to the other people in my weekend conference in this hotel. Sheldon was courteous and welcomed me when I arrived too early. Adam, the other lady (long hair, forgot her name) and Ferhan (is that his name?) are also awesome. Very accommodating to us, for our weekend event. The custodians are also courteous and very helpful. The breakfast was great, many different choices. The room I stayed in was clean also. There's a brunch restaurant about 3 min walking distance. Other than that, either drive or food delivery. The only thing is I was stuck in the gym room, also one other lady. We couldn't figure out how to open the door from the inside (have to long-press the red exit button and pull the door at the same time). I feel they should put a small notification how to open the door from inside. I highly recommend this hotel, I will def stay here again in the future. Thank you so much Homewood Suites Team!

5 stars is not enough for our stay. They greeted us with care. They treated us extremely well. Breakfast in the morning was way above our expectations. If you want a good size room, this is the place for you. We loved spending our anniversary here! Thank you!!! Ask for room 501 for an incredible view.

TL/DR: Homewood Suites gives an amazing experience, why would you go anywhere else? I was excited when I saw that my job booked me a room at the Homewood Suites for a 3-week stay while I get some work done out here. I was welcomed by Adam during check-in and got great service from him. He even moved my room for me during check-in for a more convenient spot! Thanks to Ricardo, breakfast is great each morning and is my largest meal of the day. Amenities are great, as is the location. I have enjoyed hard workouts in the gym and a 5-mile sidewalk run that did not require me to cross any major roads. I really enjoy the Wednesday social hours. Most recently Monica was hosting, and she even encouraged me to make a complaint about my room so she could see that it got fixed - too bad I didn't have any. The bed is great and I slept 14 hours my first night after a long travel day. The room has blackout curtains so effective you can be in pitch-black at noon! Another reviewer mentioned that their thermostat had an error that was never repaired. This is true, but only because the under-window A/C unit does its own temperature control and the wall thermostat is not needed. I have also enjoyed parking under cover each time, and travel to most quick bites to eat and other necessities is less than a mile. I have stayed in much more expensive hotels in the past, and the experience here is still much, much better! Like I said, why go anywhere else? :)

Lovely place that is comfortable to stay it. The staff is very nice. Centrally located but not great to walk around.

Rooms were clean, staff were friendly, and it’s so close to the freeway. Definitely a great location for staying in the peninsula. They had breakfast tacos, eggs, sausage, waffles, chia seed pudding, yogurt, toast, danishes, fruit, coffee, etc. Parking isn’t free but there is a street around the corner by Extended Stay where we parked overnight if you want to save some money and are willing to walk a short distance.

The staff here are so incredibly kind. We stayed here while my father was in the hospital and they were kind, understanding, and made sure we had everything we needed. I’d give them 6 stars if I could.
